Christina Marlier – Professional Services Business Unit Manager

Christina Marlier is the KTA Professional Services Business Unit Manager and has over 12 years of experience in raw materials for coatings (primarily additives and pigments). She holds a BS in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Environmental Engineering and an MBA all from Penn State University. Christina joined KTA in January 2019 and is responsible for leading an exceptional team of Department Managers that deliver KTA’s premier coatings consulting, engineering surveys, laboratory testing and forensic analysis, training, and environmental, health & safety services.
Prior to joining KTA, Christina held positions in technical service working on exterior architectural coatings, licensing agreements, customer troubleshooting, and product qualifications. She transitioned into a technical marketing role focusing on new business development, technical sales, supply chain contracts, and environmental qualifications. Christina served on the board of the Pittsburgh Society for Coating Technologies (PSCT); two years as treasurer, one as vice president, one as president, and one as past-president. She also spoke at a variety of industry conferences on the subject of “Fluorosurfactant in Coatings Systems.”
William D. Corbett – Chief Operations Officer

William D. Corbett is the Chief Operations Officer for KTA-Tator, Inc. He holds an A.D. in Business Administration from Robert Morris University and has been employed by KTA for over 33 years. Mr. Corbett is an SSPC Certified Protective Coatings Specialist, an SSPC Level 3 Certified Protective Coatings Inspector, an SSPC Level 2 Certified Bridge Coatings Inspector and a NACE International Level 3 Certified Coatings Inspector. He was the co-recipient of the SSPC 1992 Outstanding Publication Award, co-recipient of the 2001 JPCL Editor’s Award, received SSPC’s Coatings Education Award in 2006, and the SSPC 2011 John D. Keane Award of Merit. He is the author of the first, second and third editions of the KTA publication, Using Coatings Inspection Instruments. He also authored Chapter 8 of the SSPC Inspection of Coatings and Linings Handbook and co-authored Chapter 6, “Inspection” of the Steel Structures Painting Manual, Volume 1, Good Painting Practice. Dan O’Malley – Client Advocate for KTA’s Professional Services Group

Dan O’Malley has been with KTA for over 23 years primarily serving in the capacity of Environmental Health & Safety Group Manager. This involved providing consulting, field services, specification writing/review and training to all other services groups within KTA on a wide variety of projects across the United States. During that time, Mr. O’Malley gained an in-depth understanding of the technical services that KTA’s Professional Services Group offers and the needs of its clients.
As the Client Advocate, Mr. O’Malley combines his knowledge and industry experience with his unique relationship-building skills to establish new client connections and maintain relations with existing clients. He works closely with the department managers, the Group Manager, and the Chief Operations Officer to help ensure their clients have an exceptional experience when working with KTA’s consultants, engineers, laboratory technicians, safety professionals and training personnel.
He is actively engaged in industry trade shows where he meets with key clients to conduct post-job interviews and seeks to develop new contacts for future project opportunities. Dan also serves as a liaison to the Business Unit and its clients by providing feedback from the clients’ perspective to project managers during the proposal development and deliverable review processes as well as following up on both written and electronic client satisfactions surveys. He continually works with Department Managers to ensure that the Business Unit is providing quality services and to offer suggestions for improvement of its service offerings. | Contact Me
