This course meets the OSHA Training Institute's requirements for the 10-Hour
Construction Safety course. Students completing this course will receive
a course completion card from the OSHA Training Institute. Owners of chemical
plants, steel mills, and oil refineries, may require that contractor personnel
working in their plant receive this training. Course topics include fall protection,
scaffolding, stairways and ladders, personal protective equipment, hazard communication,
confined spaces, lead hazards in construction, motor vehicles/mechanized equipment,
and fire protection and prevention.
Note: The OSHA Training Institute also offers a 30-Hour Construction Safety Course. This course is intended for supervisory personnel (e.g., project managers, foreman, etc.).
