Fall
Protection (1/2 Day)
(Available through private contract)
Any worker who is exposed to fall hazards is required to receive formal instruction
in fall prevention/protection to comply with the training requirements of the
OSHA Fall Protection Standard (29 CFR 1926 - Subpart M).
Course topics
include:
- Review of the nature of fall hazards in the work area
- Review of the requirements of the OSHA Fall Protection Standard
- Use, operation, and limitations of fall protection systems
- Procedures for erecting, maintaining, disassembling, and inspecting fall
protection systems
