Control of Coatings Operations (a Refresher) (1

Designed for those individuals who have successfully completed basic level coatings inspection training and want to refresh and/or update their skills relating to the quality control inspection of industrial surface preparation and coating application procedures.
The one day course reviews the standards and inspection procedures relating to the various methods of surface preparation and coating installation, including inspection instrument and standards use and procedures for verification of accuracy. Newly-released industry standards are described. Documentation procedures are explained and processes for developing an inspection plan (based on a coatings specification) are described.
This course is designed as refresher training and is taught at an accelerated pace. It is not designed for personnel who have not already received formal, basic training in quality control of industrial surface preparation and coating application operations, and those that are not already familiar with surface preparation and coating application equipment.
