KTA Training FAQ & Cancellation Policy
Q: | How much does each course cost and are there discounts available? | ||||||||||||||||||||||
A: | The price for each course is noted next to the dates in the tables above. Course costs may vary by location and do not include travel expenses (hotel, airfare, etc.). There is an Advanced Registration Fee discount for several of the courses, including: Basic Course: Coatings Inspection, Coating Failure Analysis in the Field and in the Lab and Coatings Inspection Instrument Workshop. To qualify for this fee, you must register and make a payment prior to the start of the course. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
Q: | Are you going to offer a training course in a city close to me? | ||||||||||||||||||||||
A: | KTA adds new courses to the schedule frequently. If you don't see your city or a city close to you on the schedule above, send e-mail to dknepper@kta.com to find out if one is being planned for your location. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

A: | KTA will gladly customize a training course to fit your needs to be given at your location. We've traveled across the country giving customized courses since our training program began. Who Should Attend a KTA Coatings Training Course? | ||||||||||||||||||||||

Anyone concerned with corrosion prevention through the proper selection and installation of protective coatings and linings. This includes architects, engineers, plant managers, inspectors, applicators, material specifiers, coating suppliers, and shop foremen (in shops that have paint bays). | ||||||||||||||||||||||

Who Teaches the Training Courses? | ||||||||||||||||||||||

The KTA staff of instructors includes professional engineers, chemical engineers, chemists and coatings specialists. On a daily basis, the instructors use the inspection and problem solving techniques that are taught throughout the course. This first hand experience, combined with membership and leadership positions in technical societies including SSPC, ASTM, NACE, AWWA, AISC and others allows for frank, up-to-date presentations on the topics included in the courses. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

What is your course cancellation policy? | ||||||||||||||||||||||

KTA-Tator, Inc. reserves the right to cancel all classes up to one week before training is to begin, due to low registration. Upon cancellation, KTA-Tator, Inc. will provide registrants a full refund for pre-paid course fees. Cancellation of courses does not imply responsibility for reimbursement to registrants for non-refundable expenses (i.e., airline tickets). | ||||||||||||||||||||||
