Environmental Health & Safety Personnel

Depending upon the nature of a given project, the staff of the EH&S Group draws upon appropriate professional personnel to meet the various tasks of the scope of services. It is this multi-disciplinary capability that allows KTA to offer a broad range of private safety, occupational and environmental health services.

Traditional coatings industry customers include facility owners (i.e., bridge authorities and water authorities), paint manufacturers and industrial painting contractors. However, safety and health consulting services are also provided to insurance companies, wastewater treatment plants, real estate managers and residential property owners.

The primary personnel of the KTA EH&S group are:

Daniel P. Adley, CIH, CSP - Mr. Adley has been involved in over 1000 evaluations of occupational, public and environmental exposures to chemical, biological and physical agents. Services have included exposure and risk assessments, personal and ambient air monitoring, water and soils sampling, ventilation and engineering control system design and evaluation, and specification and guidance document development. Mr. Adley lectures extensively on safety and health-related issues at industry symposium (SSPC, PDCA, FHWA, AIHA) and for public and private clients. Mr. Adley's resume (PDF 33Kb)

Al Blasko - Mr. Blasko is a Senior EH&S Professional with 20 years of experience in a wide range of industrial hygiene and occupational health and safety projects, functioning as Project Manager on hundreds of projects throughout Pennsylvania and numerous other states. He has supervised and managed a staff of environmental, health, and safety technicians. Mr. Blasko's resume (PDF 28Kb)

Stan Liang, CIH, CSP - Mr. Liang is the Director of Safety and Health for KTA. He has over 15 years of experience as a health and safety professional performing industrial hygiene surveys (e.g., personal air sampling, noise), indoor air quality assessments (including mold), safety program development, safety training, third-party oversight, and compliance audits.

Mr. Liang holds a B.S. in Safety from the University of Southern California, and is a Certified Industrial Hygienist, a Certified Safety Professsional, Certified Environmental Trainer, and an OSHA Construction Outreach Program Trainer. His project experience includes a variety of worksite environments such as industrial painting projects involving lead paint removal, manufacturing facilities (i.e., steel, glass, plastics and electronics) and shipyards. He has also written safety plans and provided health and safety oversight for Superfund hazardous waste site remediation projects.

Mr. Liang is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association and SSPC: the Society for Protective Coatings. He resides in Moon Township, Pennsylvania with his wife and daughter, enjoys cooking and jogging, and is a dedicated Pittsburgh Steeler fan. Mr. Liang's resume (PDF 32Kb)
