Ken is the Chairman of the Board of KTA-Tator, Inc., the son of KTA’s founder, and an internationally renowned industry expert with over 45 years of experience in the field of protective coatings. He is a registered Professional Engineer (California, Florida, Michigan, Pennsylvania), is accredited as a Corrosion Specialist by NACE, is a NACE Certified Coatings Inspector Level 3 (Peer Review), and is an SSPC Certified Protective Coatings Specialist. Ken serves as a senior consultant and expert witness on many projects and contributes articles to various technical publications. Ken was selected by the JPCL in 2009 as one of 25 Top Leaders and Thinkers in the Coatings & Linings Industry for the past 25 years. Dan is the Chief Executive Officer for KTA. He has been with the company since 1995. As CEO, Dan is involved in all aspects of operations including finance, strategic planning and initiatives, succession planning, shaping culture, risk management and leadership. Dan is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and Certified Safety Professional with over 35 years of diversified safety and health consulting experience. In addition, he is Chairman of SSPC’s Group Committee on Environmental, Health and Safety Compliance and past chair of the AIHA Construction Committee. Kenneth A. Trimber is the President of KTA-Tator, Inc. and is directly responsible for the overall operation, performance, and success of the company. Ken has been employed by KTA since 1968, where he worked on a part-time basis until his graduation from college. With over 30 years of experience in the industrial painting field, he serves as a senior consultant and client liaison on many multi-disciplinary projects as well as a principal specification writer/reviewer. Ken is a NACE Certified Coatings Inspector Level 3 (Peer Review), is an SSPC Certified Protective Coatings Specialist. He serves as a principal instructor for a variety of KTA-offered training seminars, and he was selected by the JPCL in 2009 as one of 25 Top Leaders and Thinkers in the Coatings & Linings Industry for the past 25 years. Scott Rice Scott B. Rice – VP, Business Development Director

Scott is the Vice President of Business Development and Marketing and former Coatings Group Manager of KTA-Tator, Inc. He has been with KTA for over 20 years and has served in various administrative, technical, and management capacities including the overall management of the various design- and construction-phase coating consulting and inspection services provided to diverse clients nationwide. He has provided project management, coatings consulting, technical support, and inspection services on various projects involving bridges, locks and dams, tanks, and architectural structures. In his current capacity, Scott is responsible for the nationwide business development effort which includes serving as mentor to corporate/region staff, facilitating multi-disciplinary proposal efforts, and representing KTA at national conferences. Eric Kline Eric S. Kline – Executive Vice President/Senior Consultant

Eric Kline is the Executive Vice President and a Senior Consultant for KTA-Tator, Inc. where he has been employed for over 25 years. Eric is an SSPC Certified Protective Coatings Specialist and has consulted on major bridge maintenance coating projects for numerous highway departments. Many of these projects involved the removal, containment, and disposal of lead-based paint and the application of high performance coating systems. He also conceptualized and designed an innovative surface preparation and coating application approach for repainting overpass bridges. In addition, he has worked with a wide variety of clients on coating failure analyses issues on bridges, power plants, transmission towers, water cooling towers, ships, tanks, paper mills, water/sewage treatment and industrial plants. He has served as an instructor in many of KTA’s training programs and was selected by the JPCL in 2009 as one of 25 Top Leaders and Thinkers in the Coatings & Linings Industry for the past 25 years. John Konopka John Konopka, CPA – VP-Finance

John Konopka is the Vice President of Finance for KTA-Tator, Inc. He has been with the company for 17 years serving as company Controller and VP-Finance overseeing accounting, treasury, loss prevention, and management information systems with special emphasis on managing the overall financial operations. Mr. Konopka is responsible for monitoring the financial status of the Company through corporate financial tracking and reporting systems, administering KTA’s retirement/profit sharing plans, and working with the Human Resources Manager and KTA’s insurer on worker’s compensation/benefits issues. A Certified Public Accountant with a total of 24 years experience in corporate accounting and six years of public accounting, he holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Youngstown State University. | Read full bio
