Alison B. Kaelin is the KTA Corporate Quality Assurance Manager & Senior Consultant. She has been with the company for over 18 years overseeing work related to environmental compliance, health and safety, and overall corporate quality assurance. She also continues to serve as project manager/client liaison on quality managment, unique or multi-disciplinary projects. Ms. Kaelin has nearly 25 years of public health, environmental, health and safety, transportation and construction management experience. She is an SSPC Technical Achievement Award winner. She is an ASQ – Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), an ANSI/ASME N45.2.23 Lead Quality Auditor,  a NACE Certified Coatings Inspector Level 3 (Peer Review), and an EPA-certified Method 9 Visible Emission Evaluator. She also services as a principal instructor for a variety of KTA and SSPC-offered training course. Wendy Dameron Wendy D. Dameron – Human Resources Manager

Wendy Dameron is the Human Resources Manager for KTA where she has been employed for over 16 years. In this position, she is responsible for recruiting, hiring, performance management, benefits management, policy management, federal/state policies compliance, and employee relations. Wendy is a founder and active participant of KTA’s HealthierYou wellness and the Employee Recognition committees. She is also a member of the Fundraising Committee and is instrumental in the organization and implementation of year-round fundraising activities in support of both Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and the American Cancer Society. She is also instrumental in planning/managing numerous wellness activities offered to employees and their spouses in support of KTA’s health care reimbursement programs. Melissa McCormick Melissa J. McCormick – Contract Administrator/Senior Marketing Assistant

Melissa J. McCormick is the Contract Administrator for KTA where she has been employed for over 15 years. Melissa is responsible for reviewing/negotiating risk language within all bid documents and contracts with clients as well as writing subcontracts, managing insurance certificate requests, and completing annual client qualification forms. With over 20 years of writing, editing, and design experience, she also assists in the writing and design of company marketing materials and website content. Melissa is the primary author of KTA’s monthly wellness newsletter Heart-to-Heart, assists in the development of presentations, and has served as technical editor on special projects and corporate compliance programs. She is also an active member of KTA’s Fundraising, Employee Recognition, and HealthierYou wellness committees. Ms. McCormick has a B.S. in Journalism from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.

Nancy Dewey Nancy A. Dewey – Office Manager

Nancy Dewey is KTA’s Office Manager and a Senior Marketing Assistant. She has been employed by KTA for over 12 years and serves as Executive Assistant to KTA’s Corporate Officers, primary designer/manager of the company website, administrator of trade show materials, designer of advertising campaigns and brochures, and manager of company office supplies/equipment. Ms. Dewey is a former manager of the Business Development Group, was the primary designer of William D. Corbett’s “Using Coatings Inspection Instruments” publication and has served as administrative project manager on special work assignments for clients. She is also an active member of KTA’s Employee Recognition Committee. Ms. Dewey is a graduate of The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and has taken various courses in computer graphics/desktop publishing, website design, and data processing.

Dan Herstig Dan Herstig – Marketing Assistant

Dan Herstig is a Marketing Assistant for KTA who was originally subcontracted in 2009 to help develop new materials for the revamping of KTA’s website. This included working with each Department’s professional staff to write project summaries for a variety of markets and within various service offerings as well as locating appropriate photographs for each summary. Mr. Herstig also assisted in researching and developing a proper SEO strategy in conjunction with the website launch and continues to support KTA in the areas of social media and proposal response team planning. Mr. Herstig has a B.A. in Communications, a B.S. in Business Administration and a Masters in Business Administration from Duquesne University. Mr. Herstig has lived in many different locations across the globe including Tel-Aviv, Israel, Bangkok, Thailand, Rangoon, Burma, and Jakarta, Indonesia.
