Bruce is the Vice President of the Coatings Groups for KTA where he has been employed for over 30 years. He is responsible for various design and construction-phase coating consulting and inspection services provided to diverse clients nationwide and manages a large staff of coatings professionals including over 100 inspectors deployed across the U.S and abroad. Bruce is a NACE Certified Coatings Inspector Level 3 (Peer Review), an SSPC Certified Protective Coatings Specialist, a Nuclear Safety Related Coating Specialist, an ANSI N45.2.6 (ASTM D 4537) and a certified Insulation Energy Appraiser by the National Institute for the Uniform Licensing of Power Engineers and the National Insulation Association. Karen ColeyKaren Coley – Inspection Administrator

Karen Coley is the Inspection Administrator for KTA where she has been employed for over 25 years. Karen is a NACE Coatings Inspector Level 1 – Certified. As Inspection Administrator, she is responsible for dispatching inspectors to projects and overseeing the administration of all project information. This includes communicating and coordinating with KTA Project Managers, clients, and inspectors on a daily basis to ensure that every project is staffed with competent, qualified individuals. She develops proposals and monthly reports, and participates in monthly meetings with the Coatings Group Project Managers. Karen also provides administrative back-up for the Project Managers when they are out-of-town. She has served on various internal committees and coordinates inspector training (both internal and external) as well as Project Manager training. She is assigned as the administrator for most new large “out of the box” KTA projects. Karen has successfully completed KTA’s Nuclear Inspection Training, OSHA Safety Training, Inspector Refresher Training and Project Management Training courses.

John EkiertJohn Ekiert, P.E. – Pennsylvania Project Manager

John Ekiert has been KTA’s Project Manager for all of KTA’s Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, and Allegheny County projects for the past 4+ years. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania and has over 35 years of experience in a supervisory/managerial capacity in bridge design/inspection and construction engineering/management. Prior to joining KTA, Mr. Ekiert was employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 11-0 for over 30 years and held the positions of Civil Engineer, Bridge Inspection Supervisor, District Structure Control Engineer, District Bridge Engineer, and Assistant District Executive, Construction responsible for managing over 60 projects per year and supervising a staff of over 100. Kimmer ClineKimmer Cline – Assistant Project Manager

Kimmer Cline is the Assistant Project Manager for all Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, and Allegheny County projects for KTA where he has been employed for over 2 years. In this capacity, he is responsible for writing proposals, working with engineering firms to schedule deployment of KTA’s professionals and inspectors to jobsites, verifying that inspectors are properly trained and equipped for the work assignments, visiting jobsites at start-up, periodically visiting jobsites throughout project duration, and reviewing daily inspection reports for accuracy and completeness. Kimmer has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Fairmont State University and an M.S. in Safety Management from West Virginia University.

Leonard M. Pasquale is the National/Int’l Project Manager for KTA where he has been employed for over 25 years. He is a NACE Certified Coatings Inspector Level 3(Peer Review), an SSPC C-3 Supervisor/Competent Person for Deleading of Industrial Structures, and a Level III nuclear inspector in accordance with ASTM D4537. He is currently providing project management duties on various projects in the transportation, power generation, and natural gas industries as well as an international project for the government. Mr. Pasquale has served as the Project Manager, Resident Engineer and/or Chief Inspector on many of KTA’s large, multi-year, lead paint removal bridge projects throughout the country and has supervised a staff of up to 15 inspectors working on 24-hour operations. Allan is a Coatings Group Project Manager and Senior Technical Specialist for KTA where he has been employed for over 15 years. He is a NACE Coatings Inspector Level 2 – Certified, an SSPC C-3 Supervisor/Competent Person for Industrial Deleading Projects, and an EPA and Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry Certified Asbestos Building Inspector and Project Designer. Allan currently manages coatings inspectors (and previously managed a staff of environmental, health, and safety technicians) on projects including coatings/linings inspections, lead paint hazard management, asbestos assessment / abatement oversight, exposure assessments, indoor air quality evaluations, environmental assessments, permitting documentation/preparation, waste management consulting, preparation of specifications and contract documents, and environmental remediation cost estimating. Ricky Chan is the Eastern U.S. Territory Manager for KTA where he has been employed for over 7 years. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in New York and a NACE Coatings Inspector Level 1 – Certified. Ricky has over 15 years of engineering and construction management experience. He is currently responsible for the technical and administrative oversight of numerous, large, multi-disciplinary transportation projects in the Mid-Atlantic area serving such clients as the Triborough Bridge & Tunnel Authority, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Delaware River Port Authority, Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission, and others. Greg Richards is the Area Manager of the Southern Territory for KTA where he has been employed for 12 years. In this capacity, he manages projects in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Texas, and Tennessee involving bridges and other industrial structures. Greg has 20 years of experience dealing with coatings-related issues. Jeff Towill is the Northeast Territory Project Manager for KTA where he has been employed for 16 years. In this capacity, he manages various transportation projects through the New England area. He is a NACE Certified Coatings Inspector Level 3 (Peer Review), a NICET Level III, a Certified Traffic Control Supervisor by the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA), an ASME Visual Level II, a NETTCP Concrete Technician, and an ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I. Prior to his current assignment, he was the KTA Resident Engineer for the lead-based paint removal and recoating project on the George Washington Bridge towers and suspended span for the Port Authority of NY/NJ. He also served as the Chief Inspector on the Haddam/East Haddam Swing Bridge project for ConnDOT. His other inspection experience includes railroad overpass bridges, storage tanks, and electric transmission structures.
