KTA was founded in 1949 by Kenneth Tator, with his son Kenneth B. Tator serving as its President for over 30 years. Mr. Tator has now turned the operations over to a management team whose accumulated industry experience totals more than 100 years.

Ken Tator continues as the Chief Executive Officer and leads KTA's efforts in long-term strategic planning.

KTA established a management team to more effectively and efficiently service the industry and to enhance the delivery of quality corrosion-related solutions on a local basis, nationwide.
